Receives Interference Violation

CBS RADIO Alternative KXTE (X107.5)/LAS VEGAS has received a notice of violation from the FCC regarding interfering with an airport communications frequency.

Acting on an interference complaint from the FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION (FAA), on JULY 14th, 2015, agents of the Enforcement Bureau's LOS ANGELES Office inspected KXTE's main transmitter facility located on MT. POTOSI, CLARK COUNTY, NV.

Agents, "observed a spurious emission centered on 117.9 MHz originating from KXTE(FM)'s transmitter facility located on Mt. Potosi, Clark County, Nevada and causing harmful interference to an FAA communication channel on 118.0 MHz."
