Suit Dismissed
A copyright infringement case filed by BWP MEDIA USA INC. d/b/a PACIFIC COAST NEWS in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of NEW YORK against CBS RADIO has been terminated with prejudice by the plaintiff. No settlement terms were disclosed, and a dismissal filing indicates that CBS did not file an answer nor a motion for summary judgment.
The suit alleged use of a photo owned by BWP of HARRISON FORD's plane crash on the website of Country WKIS (99.9 KISS COUNTRY)/MIAMI.
