Both "Purpose" and "Made In The A.M." broke the existing global streaming record for an album in the first week of release (previously held by THE WEEKND's "Beauty Behind The Madness" with 90m streams in its first week of release), instantly setting two new global streaming records.
"Purpose" broke the global and U.S. marks for the most streams for an album in its first week of release, with 205m global streams and 77m U.S. streams, while 1D garnered 106m global streams.
