CUMULUS MEDIA has expanded Corporate PD/News-Talk BILL HESS’ role at CUMULUS/WASHINGTON, D.C. to include OM duties for the cluster. HESS will continue in his role as PD for WMAL-F/A
HESS’ 38-year radio career has spanned positions on-air and in talk programming as PD for stations including WTEM (Sports Talk)/WASHINGTON, D.C.; WHJJ/PROVIDENCE and WHYN-A-F/SPRINGFIELD, MA. He was also Brand Manager for CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO/iHEART MEDIA and served as SVP/Programming for AIR AMERICA RADIO. In addition, HESS has programmed music stations including AC WASH and Classic Hits WBIG/WASHINGTON, D.C.
