Mark Jennings Tapped As WPOR/Portland, ME Brand Mgr./Afternoons

ALL ACCESS has confirmed that TOWNSQUARE MEDIA Country WOKQ/PORTSMOUTH, NH Brand Mgr./afternoon personality MARK JENNINGS will join SAGA Country WPOR/PORTLAND, ME in the same capacity effective MONDAY, NOVEMBER 30th. JENNINGS’ move completes a remarkable 34-year run at WOKQ, his first and only radio gig out of college. After joining the station in 1983, JENNINGS rose to PD in 1999 and became OM for the cluster earlier this YEAR.

“MARK is a true professional; the opportunity to work with him again is very exciting, and we know that he will seamlessly transition to help us grow these two powerful brands,” said PORTLAND RADIO GROUP VP/GM BOB ADAMS.

At ‘POR, JENNINGS succeeds MATTY JEFF, who last month announced he was headed to TOWNSQUARE Country WGNA/ALBANY, NY as Brand Mgr./afternoons, also starting MONDAY (NET NEWS 10/29). No word yet on plans for JENNINGS' successor at WOKQ.
