The NBA's MILWAUKEE BUCKS have inked a new marketing deal with ENTERCOM's MILWAUKEE cluster that includes on-air content and promotion but not play-by-play (other than games bumped from crosstown flagship SCRIPPS News-Talk WTMJ-A due to conflicts with GREEN BAY PACKERS football). The deal includes additional live BUCKS shows on Sports WSSP-A-W289CB (105.7FM THE FAN) to join the existing "PICK 'N SAVE MILWAUKEE BUCKS POST-GAME SHOW" with STEVE "SPARKY" FIFER, including "SPARKY'S BUCKS WEEKLY" on WEDNESDAYs and appearances by BUCKS players, coaches, and broadcasters. Promotional mentions will also air on Hot AC WMYX (99.1 THE MIX) and Top 40 WXSS (103.7 KISS-FM).
“We’re thrilled to partner with ENTERCOM MILWAUKEE to give our fans even more of the great BUCKS content they crave,” said BUCKS President PETER FEIGIN. “Between the game broadcasts on our flagship station and all the exciting new content on 105.7FM THE FAN, we’re providing our fans the best listening experience in the league.”
“This is going to be fun,” said ENTERCOM MILWAUKEE VP and GM CHUCK SULLIVAN. “WSSP has supported BUCKS basketball for more than a decade and we’re excited to expand our programming on 105.7FM The FAN, as well as adding the tremendous marketing reach of 103.7 KISS-FM and 99.1 THE MIX.”
