ENTERCOM RADIO/PORTLAND is partnering with the OREGON MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND INDUSTRY (OMSI) to present the second annual OMSI AFTER DARK: BOURBON & BACON FEST on SATURDAY, JANUARY 9th, 2016, from 7-11p (PT).
The event will be part of OMSI After Dark, a popular event series that gives the 21-and-over crowd the opportunity to explore the museum in a child-free environment. Last year’s BOURBON & BACON FEST was a sellout, and included over 30 local vendors with a variety of bacon, bourbon, whiskey, and brandy samples. Guests will also enjoy music from local DJs, mixology lessons, appearances by local radio personalities and more.
“We were very happy with the popularity of BOURBON & BACON FEST in its first year,” commented ENTERCOM Events Manager RYAN COOLEY. “That’s why we’re excited to introduce it to people that may have missed it last year and to create a new tradition for those who were there for the inaugural event.”
OMSI Event Planner SONALI SHIVDASANI is thrilled to once again partner with ENTERCOM for theevent, which showcases a large variety of spirits from local distillers like TATPPSJ. EASTSIDE DISTILLING and BULL RUN.
“The local restaurants and distilleries are truly what make this event great,” she said. “We are eager to familiarize PORTLAND to the food, drink and science fun that comes with OMSI AFTER DARK.
Tickets go on-sale FRIDAY, DECEMBER 4th at the BOURBON & BACON FEST website. For information about becoming a participating vendor or sponsor, contact JESSICA SEUS at ENTERCOM/PORTLAND.
