SCOTT WEILAND AND THE WILDABOUTS bassist TOMMY BLACK, who doubles as longtime manager of L.A. famed's VIPER ROOM club, was reportedly arrested by BLOOMINGTON, MN, police this afternoon and booked on possession of a controlled substance for a bag of cocaine found inside his area of the tour bus where the band's lead singer was found dead last night, according to the ASSOCIATED PRESS.
BLACK is being held in custody in BLOOMINGTON. TMZ had reported in the days leading up to WEILAND's death, he had relapsed and was doing crack cocaine and drinking heavily.
SCOTT WEILAND AND THE WILDABOUTS had scheduled dates in RENO, NV, on DECEMBER 18th and CITY WINERY in NAPA, CA, on DECEMBER 19th.
Local county sheriff's office and the medical examiner will issue a report on WEILAND's death after an autopsy.
