Kudos to PREMIERE NETWORKS syndicated "THE BOBBY BONES SHOW" host BOBBY BONES and his band THE RAGING IDIOTS, who raised $151,350 for ST. JUDE CHILDREN'S RESEARCH HOSPITAL last NIGHT (12/7) via "THE RAGING IDIOTS' Million Dollar Show" presented by iHEARTMEDIA Country WSIX (THE BIG 98)/NASHVILLE. The all-star lineup featured performances from LINDSAY ELL, NATALIE STOVALL, KRISTIAN BUSH, CHRIS JANSON, ERIC PASLAY, KELSEA BALLERINI, CAM, CARRIE UNDERWOOD, BRETT ELDREDGE, DIERKS BENTLEY, LITTLE BIG TOWN, and CHRIS STAPLETON (NET NEWS 11/10).
WSIX air personalities were all on-hand for the evening, serving as emcees throughout portions of the RYMAN AUDITORIUM showcase. BONES' morning co-hosts LUNCHBOX and AMY entertained the crowd during a brief intermission, while midday host AMY PAIGE and afternoon team TIGE & DANIEL kept the audience warmed up between sets. iHEARTMEDIA/NASHVILLE SVP MICHAEL BRYAN even got in on the action, playing drums for JANSON on "Buy Me A Boat."
Special moments from the nearly four-hour extravaganza included a plaque presentation to BONES in appreciation for his work in raising money and awareness for ST. JUDE; surprise performances from UNDERWOOD and STAPLETON; an appearance from actor and TENNESSEE native DENNIS HASKINS, best known for his role as MR. BELDING on "Saved By The Bell;" and crowd-pleasing performances from every artist on the roster.
Tickets for the event sold out in less than one hour (NET NEWS 11/18), with all proceeds going directly to ST. JUDE. Audience members could also donate an additional ten dollars by texting LIFE to 50333. The text-in option will remain live through the end of the month to allow for additional donations.
