NASHVILLE's MONROE CARELL JR. CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL AT VANDERBILT has partnered with the RYAN SEACREST FOUNDATION (RSF) to build a multimedia broadcast studio, named SEACREST STUDIOS, inside the CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL. RSF builds SEACREST STUDIOS in pediatric hospitals across the country so patients can explore radio, television and other media outlets to aid in the healing process. The facility will be on the second floor of the building inside the Butterfly Garden performance area, and will open early in 2016.
"We are excited and honored to be selected as a site for SEACREST STUDIOS," said CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL CEO LUKE GREGORY. "The RYAN SEACREST FOUNDATION and SEACREST STUDIOS complement our mission for patient- and family-centered care to ensure our families feel engaged in all aspects of care and the healing process to make CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL a welcoming and inspirational place for every child."
