Bubba The Love Sponge Moves To Have Nielsen Lawsuit Dismissed

BUBBA THE LOVE SPONGE's attorneys filed a motion FRIDAY (12/11) asking the court to throw out NIELSEN's lawsuit against him, reports the TAMPA BAY TIMES.

The motion argues that the ratings service has not shown that it has been harmed (the data affected by BUBBA's contact with panelists for NIELSEN's PPM ratings was removed from the survey), that his actions were not fraud, and that he has already apologized for the first infraction and others were "stray non-fraudulent, fan-initiated contacts" in which he was merely talking to fans who had reached out to him.  The motion says that the latter cannot be made fraud "by building a nearby tower of allegations of unrelated interactions which it hopes will distract from an otherwise unsupported narrative."
