COLUMBIA RECORDS has upped VP of Top 40 Promotion AIMIE VAUGHAN-FRUEHE to VP of Promotion. VAUGHAN-FRUEHE joined COLUMBIA as Sr. Dir. of Promotion in 2001 after working as a Regional Promotion Director for CAPITOL RECORDS in LOS ANGELES.
EVP, Head of Promotion LEE LEIPSNER said, “I have had the pleasure of working with AIMIE for well over a decade and watched her become a cornerstone of our Top 40 Promotion team. The enthusiasm she brings to garnering radio exposure for our great roster is second to none. Her tenacious drive coupled with the depth and thoughtfulness of her experience has earned her the respect of artists and peers alike, and will serve her well in her much-deserved new position. All of COLUMBIA joins me in congratulating her on this well-earned promotion.”
VAUGHAN-FRUEHE said, “I would like to thank ROB STRINGER, JOEL KLAIMAN and LEE LEIPSNER for the privilege of being part of the COLUMBIA RECORDS culture. I love what I do and am thrilled to continue breaking some of the most vital and exciting artists making music today in a department that is emblematic of this label’s passion and commitment. I’m honored to be moving forward alongside the great COLUMBIA team.”
