WTVR/Richmond To Relaunch As 'The New Mix 98.1'

iHEARTMEDIA AC WTVR (LITE 98)/RICHMOND -- currently playing all-CHRISTMAS music -- will relaunch as MIX 98.1, TODAY’S VARIETY on MONDAY, DECEMBER 28th. The station says it will play, "a 'mix' of music from artists like TAYLOR SWIFT, MAROON 5, ADELE, BRUNO MARS, PINK and more. 

MIX 98.1 will feature former WRVQ (Q94) morning radio personality JEFF WICKER, who returns to the market as the station’s new morning show host from 5:30-9a. JACKIE CUNNINGHAM, who previously hosted “JACKIE AND BENDER” on KBKS (106.1 KISS FM)/SEATTLE, will host weekdays from 9a-noon. 18 year RICHMOND veteran KAT SIMONS, will return to the station and host from 12-3p. She will be followed by another familiar RICHMOND personality, BILLY SURF, who has made two previous stops in the market.
