SiriusXM Goes HIghbrow With New Classical Program.

SIRIUSXM will launch an exclusive new concert series with THE CHAMBER MUSIC SOCIETY OF LINCOLN CENTER on its SYMPHONY HALL channel. “The CHAMBER MUSIC SOCIETY OF LINCOLN CENTER Hour,” a new weekly series, will feature concerts from the SOCIETY, one of 11 constituents of LINCOLN CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS.

LINCOLN CENTER Artistic Directors DAVID FINCKEL and WU HAN commented, “We could not be more thrilled to be joining the SIRIUSXM family.  This distinguished collaboration will allow us to bring all the excitement of our recorded live performances from our home at LINCOLN CENTER to a larger and broader audience than ever before. Becoming a part of the classical programming on this popular and prestigious network is something we have long looked forward to.”

The program will launch on MONDAY, JANUARY 11th at 12p (ET), via satellite on SYMPHONY HALL channel 76 and through the SIRIUSXM app on smartphones and other connected devices, as well as online at siriusxm.com. The concert series will also rebroadcast every THURSDAY at 10a (ET).
