Longtime radio vet ROBERT J. LIND, 62, died unexpectedly in his sleep on MONDAY, DECEMBER 28th at his home in RALEIGH, NC. LIND's career in broadcasting sales and management included family-owned WSAU/WAUSAU, WI; WTMJ/MILWAUKEE; WKSS/HARTFORD, CT; PITTSBURGH; NEW YORK; MILWAUKEE; BALTIMORE; and RALEIGH, NC. He served as a VP of CAPITOL BROADCASTING for over a decade.

He leaves his wife of 42 years KAREN (KOZELEK) LIND; his daughter CHRISTINA OVERBY, her husband CHRIS OVERBY, and their two daughters ANNA KATE and ALLISON; his daughter ERICA WINTER and her husband BRIAN WINTER; and his son NICK LIND.

Funeral details are being handled by BROWN-WYNNE FUNERAL HOME in RALEIGH. Visitation will be held from 5:30-7:30p on SUNDAY, JANUARY 3rd at BROWN-WYNNE. The funeral will be held on MONDAY afternoon, JANUARY 4th at ST. RAPHAEL CATHOLIC CHURCH at 5801 Falls of the Neuse Road in RALEIGH.
