Stewart Rises To IDJMG SVP/A&R

SHAKIR STEWART is promoted to Sr. VP/A&R of ISLAND DEF JAM MUSIC GROUP. He has offices in ATLANTA and NEW YORK and reports directly to IDJMG Chairman ANTONIO "L.A." REID and DEF JAM RECORDINGS Pres. SHAWN (JAY-Z) CARTER. STEWART had served as VP/A&R of DEF JAM RECORDINGS since AUGUST 2004.
