iHEARTMEDIA Sports KJR-A/SEATTLE has picked up "THE BARBERSHOP," the show formerly at crosstown BONNEVILLE Sports KIRO-A (710 ESPN SEATTLE), for WEDNESDAYS 6-8:30p (PT). The show, hosted by former SEATTLE SEAHAWKS and U. OF WASHINGTON player MARCUS TRUFANT and former UoW player TERRY "T-HOLLA" HOLLIMON, was a podcast and evening show in its 710 ESPN incarnation (with third host GEE SCOTT, now in evenings at 710); it will air live from SNOQUALMIE CASINO on WEDNESDAYS before SEAHAWKS home games.
“We’re so excited to host THE BARBERSHOP and continue what we love to do,” said TRUFANT. “We wanted to create a show that could cover sports news in a fun way that goes beyond just stats and facts, and we know it will connect with local sports fans.”
“We think THE BARBERSHOP will be a great opportunity for SEAHAWKS fans to really get excited and engage themselves with the team, and we can’t wait to host the show,” said HOLLIMON.
“We couldn’t be more excited to add THE BARBERSHOP to our line-up,” said iHEARTMEDIA SEATTLE SVP/Programming RICH MOORE. “The show is a great fit for our coverage of the SEAHAWKS and enhances SEATTLE’s first choice for NFL coverage.”
