KQMS, KNRO/Redding, CA Swap AM Slots, Add FM Translators

Swap Slots

MAPLETON COMMUNICATIONS, LLC is now simulcasting News-Talk KQMS-A/REDDING, CA on three signals, its existing full-power KQMS-F/SHASTA LAKE, CA at 99.3 FM, a new translator signal K289BT/ANDERSON, CA on 105.7 FM, and the 1670 AM signal formerly occupied by sister Sports KNRO-A (FOX SPORTS REDDING), which has swapped AM slots with KQMS (now "NEWS TALK SUPERSTATION") and is now heard on 1400 AM and the 103.9 FM translator K280GP/BRIDGEPORT, CA. 

The KNRO translator, formerly K291CB/CARSON CITY, NV, was purchased from AMERICAN EDUCATIONAL BROADCASTING, INC.for $40,000, and the KQMS translator was also purchased from AEB for $75,000.
