DR. DREW PINSKY's HLN television show, "DR. DREW ON CALL," has been canceled by HLN parent CNN as of SEPTEMBER 22nd.
While the network said via a statement from SVP KEN JAUTZ that the cancelation of the show after six years was a mutual decision and PINSKY is staying in the CNN family as a contributor, the cancelation follows a controversy in which PINSKY, the former "LOVELINE" co-host who hosts middays with MIKE CATHERWOOD on CUMULUS News-Talk KABC-A/LOS ANGELES as well as the "ADAM AND DR. DREW" podcast with ADAM CAROLLA, said on KABC's morning show with DOUG MCINTYRE that he is "gravely concerned" with HILLARY CLINTON's health, suggesting that she may have brain damage and is not being properly screened for heart disease.
HLN will air reruns of "FORENSIC FILES" and shows from the "CNN ORIGINALS" series in PINSKY's 7p (ET) weeknight slot after SEPTEMBER 22nd.
