MONTREAL-based all-in-one entertainment streaming service PLAYSTER has inked a deal with digital music platform 7DIGITAL to power its revamped music catalog.
The newly unveiled collaboration with the LONDON-based company, whose partners include MUSICAL.LY, HMV, TECHNICS and ONKYO, comes before PLAYSTER touted its upcoming announcement, which will include the addition of millions of songs from both major label and indie artists.
Commented PLAYSTER CEO PHILIP KEEZER: "After we solidified our book offering to include all of today's bestsellers and biggest classics, we knew we had to get our music up to par. Our team has been working non-stop to ensure that PLAYSTER members can enjoy the best in music and now that 7DIGITAL is on board, we're just steps away from the big reveal."
7DIGITAL CEO SIMON COLE added: "PLAYSTER is a company that has the experience and depth of knowledge to really understand the digital music market. It is a badge of honor to be working with them and we look forward to the exciting launch of the new product."
PLAYSTER has been offering its members unlimited access to books, audiobooks, music, movies and games via one easy-to-use service since its inception in 2014. The new partnership with 7DIGITAL helps push the company to the forefront in music.
