ENTERTAINMENT ONE MUSIC had added DAN STACEY's U.K.-based music management company HARDLIVING, it was announced by eOne MUSIC President CHRIS TAYLOR. HARDLIVINGS is the artist management company behind BRITISH dance music successes RITON, TIEKS and JAX JONES, among others.
Commented TAYLOR: “I’ve known DAN for many years and I’m delighted that he’s bringing his passion and impeccable taste to eOne. He has built an incredible roster of talent by nurturing creative ability to its full artistic potential. eOne MUSIC’s global resources and network will enable DAN and his artists to maximize that potential on a worldwide basis.”
The collaboration will further charge the global momentum of eOne MUSIC. as it continues to broaden its scope and reach in artist management through its brands LAST GANG MANAGEMENT (LIGHTS, ARKELLS, DIANA GORDON), WRC MANAGEMENT (KAYTRANADA, SANGO, STWO, POMO, LOU PHELPS) and PEOPLE'S CHAMP (RYRAN HEMSORTH, BADBADNOTGOOD), dubbed THE OZONE MANAGEMENT GROUP OF COMPANIES.
Added STACEY: “CHRIS and I first crossed paths working together on DEATH FROM ABOVE 1979 shortly after he launched LAST GANG. Since then, he’s been a true force in the industry. I’m very excited to extend our working relationship under eOne MUSIC, which will undoubtedly provide an incredible multidimensional platform for my artist rosters to blossom in the years ahead.”
STACEY brings over 12 years of industry experience to eOne. Prior to launching HARDLIVINGS, he managed and A&R’d the rise of DUKE DUMONT from a relatively unknown left field artist, to two GRAMMY nominations, multiple U.K. #1 singles, over 3 million single sales, and a substantial touring business in their time together. Prior to that, he was an A&R at NICK WORTHINGTON’s 679 RECORDINGS, where he signed respected U.K. artists such as PLAN B and KANO, putting together the seminal RUN THE ROAD GRIME compilations.
STACEY and his team will be based in eOne’s LONDON office.
