CUMULUS Country WMDH (NASH FM 102.5)/MUNCIE, IN PD/afternoon host CHRIS CARTER has departed the station after four years. CARTER joined WMDH in 2012 (NET NEWS 7/10/12) as PD/morning co-host. His previous stops include VOX COMMUNICATIONS Classic Hits WXXC/MARION, IN. "Thank you all so much for the support over the last [four-plus] years," shared CARTER via FACEBOOK. "Now the next chapter begins, and it begins very soon. I'm nervous and excited and can't wait to tell you all more about it. I will say I've accepted an opportunity, and as soon as the ink is dry, [I] will let you all in on the good -- no, the GREAT news."
Meanwhile, back at WMDH, the search is on for the next PD/afternoon host to replace CARTER. "The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of programming, including music scheduling, managing on-air staff, station strategy, promotions, and have a strong customer service approach toward the listeners as well as clients," CUMULUS Corporate PD GREG FREY tells ALL ACCESS.
