KNKX/Seattle's Weekend Lineup Adds Three, Subtracts Three

FRIENDS OF 88.5 Jazz-News-Talk KNKX/TACOMA-SEATTLE, the former KPLU, is making weekend lineup changes under its new management.

Joining the SATURDAY lineup will be WNYC STUDIOS' "SNAP JUDGMENT," starting OCTOBER 8th; local jazz show "THE NEW COOL" with evening host ABE BEESON, beginning NOVEMBER 5th; and an expanded version of ROBIN LLOYD's "JAZZ CALIENTE." also starting NOVEMBER 5th.  Coming out of the lineup will be NPR's "BEST OF CAR TALK" and the UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS' syndicated "STARDATE" and the local "THE SATURDAY JAZZ MATINEE," with the latter's host, MARY MCCANN, moving to the FRIDAY edition of "EVENING JAZZ."
