  Longtime NEW YORK radio personality JOHN GAMBLING told listeners to his SALEM News-Talk WNYM-A (AM 970 THE ANSWER)/NEW YORK 11a-1p (ET) show TODAY (9/16) that he is retiring from radio.
  
  The former crosstown WOR-A and WABC-A host and heir to the former WOR "RAMBLING WITH GAMBLING" franchise said that serious chronic knee problems led to his decision to end the show. GAMBLING retired once before, in 2013, after his second stint at WOR.
