ALL ACCESS has learned that JOHN CARUCCI is out as PD at GALAXY COMMUNICATIONS Classic Hits WZUN (SUNNY 102)/PHOENIX-SYRACUSE. Brand Mgr. MIMI GRISWOLD tells us the Interim PD is market vet GARY DUNES, who remains a part of the wakeup team.

In other GALAXY news, the company has launched a division that will focus on creating event partnerships with fellow radio and television broadcasters. GALAXY EVENTS CONSULTING has commitments to enter ten new markets so far in 2017. Those will include BUFFALO, ROCHESTER, BINGHAMTON, WATERTOWN and LONG ISLAND -- all in NEW YORK. Additionally, PHILADELPHIA, CHARLOTTE, RALEIGH and SARASOTA, FL are also slated for 2017.

“This idea has been percolating for some time.
