It's a quiet day in the FCC database, literally, since no new station sales showed up but four applications for Silent STAs did.
In the filings, JHONSON NAPOLEON's WJBW LLC has requested a Silent STA for WJBW-A/JUPITER, FL due to equipment difficulties. NAPOLEON's WGAY, LLC has also requested a Silent STA for WGAY/SUGARLOAF KEY, FL for the same reason.
CHEHALIS VALLEY EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION has filed for a Silent STA for KBSG/WESTPORT, WA while it changes format and prepares to file for a modification.
MARIA ROSARIO ORTEGA has applied for a Silent STA for K288GC/REDFISH LAKE, ID while its gas generator is serviced.
FAMILY LIFE BROADCASTING SYSTEM has closed on the sale of K246CG/LAS CRUCES, NM to WORLD BROADCASTING & TELEVISION, LLC for $49,500.
PRIORITY RADIO, INC. has closed on the sale of W286AX/SALISBURY, MD to HINDLIN BROADCASTING, LLC for $60,000. The buyer plans to move the translator to rebroadcast Spanish Hits WVXX-A (SELECTA 1050)/NORFOLK.
And STARBOARD MEDIA FOUNDATION, INC. has closed on the sale of W222AU/BELOIT, WI to DAVID R. MAGNUM for $10,000.
Also, WGWM BROADCASTING, INC. has surrendered its license for WGWM-A/LONDON, KY.
