Now GLENN BECK's MERCURY RADIO ARTS, INC. and THEBLAZE INC. are in the crosshairs of a photographer's lawsuit over display of copyrighted photos without permission.
BARCROFT MEDIA, LTD., a British photo agency with an office in BROOKLYN, has sued BECK's companies in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of NEW YORK, alleging that THEBLAZE.COM's CARLY HOILMAN posted two photos of mother-daughter "plastic surgery addicts" from BURNLEY, ENGLAND without obtaining a license or permission. The copyright infringement case seeks $150,000 per infringement plus costs.
