CHRISTOPHER "MAD DOG" RUSSO is sticking with SIRIUSXM, with which he has signed a new three-year contract. RUSSO heads the satellite service's MAD DOG SPORTS RADIO and hosts 3-6p (ET) weekdays on the channel, which he founded after leaving CBS RADIO Sports WFAN-A/NEW YORK in 2008.
“I am proud of what MAD DOG SPORTS RADIO has become and continue to believe this is the best place in all of radio,” said RUSSO, who also hosts "HIGH HEAT" for cable television's MLB NETWORK. “After 30 years of broadcasting, my excitement to come to work every day and talk sports with all of AMERICA is as strong as ever due to the freedom SIRIUSXM provides. So stay tuned, AMERICA. There’s plenty of bark left in the DOGGIE!”
