Lex & Terry Return To Jacksonville At 97.3 Planet Radio

UNITED STATIONS RADIO NETWORKS announced "The LEX & TERRY Morning Show" has returned to JACKSONVILLE, FL, at iHEARTMEDIA Active Rock WKSL-HD2-W295AZ (97.3 PLANET RADIO). LEX & TERRY were added recently in the PALMDALE/L.A. market on HIGH DESERT BROADCASTING Rock KKZQ (THE EDGE) as well as MIDWEST COMMUNICATIONS Rock KRRO/SIOUX FALLS, SD.

The announcement came today from USRN Managing Dir./Affiliate Relations STEFAN JONES along with the show’s co-hosts, LEX STALEY and TERRY JAYMES.

The pair first became a “team” in JACKSONVILLE in 1992, eventually working at WPLA (THE PLANET), where they were ranked #1 among Adults 25-54. Their success in that market led to the duo’s decision in 1997 to take the program into national syndication where it has thrived ever since. The new PLANET RADIO originates on an HD channel of WKSL, and is also on the FM dial at 97.3.  

“The show never feels quite right when we’re not on in JACKSONVILLE," LEX said. "It's the birthplace of the best talk show in AMERICA, and we really only feel whole when LEX & TERRY are on the air there.”  

Added TERRY: “Our lives are complete now … It’s time to wreak some havoc!”

LEX & TERRY currently house their broadcast operations in DALLAS. STALEY has a long history in radio, both on the air and in various management capacities including having been a PD. JAYMES comes from a background of comedy, television and live performance, and together they’ve got over 50 years of combined radio experience.
