Report: ESPN Mulling 'Mike And Mike' Breakup

SPORTS ILLUSTRATED/SI.COM media columnist RICHARD DEITSCH is reporting that ESPN is considering breaking up the long-running MIKE AND MIKE team, moving MIKE GREENBERG to a new 6-10a (ET) television show to air on ESPN, while leaving MIKE GOLIC on the radio with a new co-host.

DEITSCH stresses that the talks are "exploratory" and speculates that GOLIC might be paired with his son MIKE GOLIC JR., currently co-host of an early morning show on ESPN RADIO, although he adds that such a move is a "long shot" to be installed as the network's morning show.
