WGIV-A (Streetz 103.3)/Charlotte Taps Deon Cole For PD

CORE COMMUNICATORS BROADCASTING NORTH Urban WGIV-A (STREETZ 103.3)/CHARLOTTE, which also broadcasts on translator W277CB (103.3 FM), has hired DEON COLE for PD duties.  He will start on MONDAY (10/3).  

CORE Pres. STEVE HEGWOOD said, “DEON is a very bright talented broadcaster with years of experience in the Assistant PD/MD chair, he deserves an opportunity.  We are pleased to have him lead our young staff and programming department in the very competitive CHARLOTTE market.”

Most recently COLE served as Continuity Dir. for BEASLEY MEDIA GROUP/CHARLOTTE. Within the same cluster, he had worked as APD/MD for Urban WPEG (POWER 98) from 2002-2015.
