WSTR/Atlanta Welcomes Zakk Babb For Nights

ENTERCOM Hot AC WSTR (STAR 94.1)/ATLANTA announces the addition of ZAKK BABB for nights from 8p-mid effective immediately. He will also handle some occasional weekend shifts. 

BABB was most recently holding down afternoons with WRWM (93.9 THE BEAT)/INDIANAPOLIS. Prior to that, he was with WNOW/INDIANAPOLIS and on-camera host for the station’s cable TV partner, “INDY's MUSIC CHANNEL." 

ZAKK BABB commented, “To be given the opportunity to do nights on STAR 94.1 is crazy!  After talking with TONY (LORINO PD) about his vision for the station, I quickly realized his passion for success and that’s what I’m most excited about being a part of.  I can’t wait to work alongside THE JEFF & JENN SHOW, HEATHER BRANCH, MIKE MARINO and the rest of the team at the station that is continually making its mark in ATLANTA.”

PD TONY LORINO added, “We’re excited to welcome someone with ZAKK’s engaging personality to STAR, and thrilled to him bring a new level of energy to our night show.  And, because ZAKK likes to repeat consonants at the end of every WORDD, he will be giving our spell check in MICROSOFTT a workout too.  But we’ll forgive HIMM.”
