  Shania Twain To Be Honored
  
  COUNTRY MUSIC TELEVISION (CMT) will present SHANIA TWAIN the “Artist Of A Lifetime” award during its upcoming “CMT Artists of The Year” telecast on THURSDAY, OCTOBER 20th at 9pm (ET/PT). TWAIN will be the first female artist to receive the award, and she joins previous recipients KENNY ROGERS and MERLE HAGGARD, honored in 2014 and 2015, respectively.
  
  Last MONTH, LUKE BRYAN, FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE, THOMAS RHETT, CHRIS STAPLETON, and CARRIE UNDERWOOD were announced as CMT's top Country artists of 2016 (NET NEWS 9/13).
