KXRN-LP (KX 93.5)/Laguna Beach Raises $88K

Big Fundraiser

Nonprofit "Generational" Alternative KXRN-LP (KX 93.5)/LAGUNA BEACH, CA's annual concert/fundraiser “KXClusive” at THE MONTAGE RESORT on SEPTEMBER 30th, raised more than $88,000 net for the non-profit station’s operations. 

The night included local favorites THE 133 BAND and PAINBIRDS (members of SUGAR TRAIN, RAY and THE DOOBIE BROTHERS), who got everyone out of their chairs with hits like “China Grove,” “Fly,” and “Drops of Jupiter”.

“To have the original members of these bands performing some of the biggest songs of all time right in our backyard was awe-inspiring,” said KX 93.5 Founder TYLER RUSSELL, who was also the evening’s auctioneer. “The night was all about LAGUNA coming together through music, which is exactly what our radio station aims to foster in this town. We’re so grateful for the support and positive reception.”
