It came at the very last minute, but WASHINGTON CAPITALS hockey and WASHINGTON BULLETS basketball have found a radio home for the 2015-16 season at HUBBARD News WFED-A (FEDERAL NEWS RADIO)/WASHINGTON, which will air both of MONUMENTAL SPORTS AND ENTERTAINMENT's teams' games. CAPS games bumped by conflicts with the WIZARDS will air on the online CAPS RADIO 24/7 stream.
The CAPS were previously on CBS RADIO Sports WJFK (106.7 THE FAN), and the WIZARDS were on the old CBS RADIO News WNEW (now BLOOMBERG Business WDCH); JOHN WALTON and KEN SABOURIN return to call the CAPS games with pre- and post-game shows hosted by BEN RABY, while DAVE JOHNSON and GLENN CONSOR are back for WIZARDS broadcasts.
The CAPS will also be heard on a 14 station network stretching from PENNSYLVANIA to NORTH CAROLINA; the WIZARDS are on a 13 station network that covers MARYLAND to NORTH CAROLINA.
