Gimlet Media Drops 'Sampler' Podcast, But Host Brittany Luse To Stay On For New Project

GIMLET MEDIA has dropped another show from its lineup, canceling the "SAMPLER" podcast as of the latest episode.  

Host BRITTANY LUSE said on TWITTER that the "podcast about podcasts" is ending but that she would be hosting a new project for GIMLET in the near future.  In addition, LUSE and GIMLET founder ALEX BLUMBERG posted a final three-minute episode in which BLUMBERG said that while "SAMPLER" is ending, "BRITTANY LUSE is here to stay"; LUSE advised listeners to remain subscribed because her next show will use the same RSS and iTunes feeds as "SAMPLER."

"We've done a lot of what we wanted to do with the show," LUSE said of "SAMPLER," "and we're kind of ready for the next thing." 

GIMLET recently disclosed that it dropped STARLEE KINE's "MYSTERY SHOW" from its lineup in APRIL but had not announced the separation until this month.
