Melanie Morgan Says She's Stepping Down From Mornings At KSRO/Santa Rosa

AMATURO News-Talk KSRO-A-K278CD/SANTA ROSA morning host MELANIE MORGAN has informed listeners that she will leave the station in NOVEMBER or DECEMBER. 

MORGAN said that "after more than 30 years of setting an alarm clock for an unbelievably crazy early hour, I have decided to end my reporting and anchoring stint for morning drive radio. I am ready for a new lifestyle, but I don’t exactly know what that looks like yet," although she sis say that she would be more involved with her MOVE AMERICA FORWARD advocacy group and hopes to spend more time with her husband, CBS RADIO News KCBS-A-KFRC-F/SAN FRANCISCO Dir./News and Programming JACK SWANSON.

MORGAN joined KSRO 2-1/2 years ago after 14 years co-hosting mornings at ABC RADIO News-Talk KSFO-A/SAN FRANCISCO, 9 at KSFO sister News-Talk KGO-A and ABC O&O KGO-TV, and one year at TALK RADIO NETWORK's "AMERICA'S MORNING NEWS."
