CORUS News-Talk CFMJ-A (AM640)/TORONTO is revamping its lineup as of NOVEMBER 7th.
Among the changes, JOHN OAKLEY will move from morning to afternoon drive, with NATIONAL POST columnist MATT GURNEY and TORONTO SUN and CBC contributor SUPRIYA DWIVEDI taking over 5:30-9a, with daily contributions from GLOBAL "THE MORNING SHOW" co-host JEFF MCARTHUR, who has been hosting 2-4p on AM640; MIKE STAFFORD shifting from 10a-1p to 9a-noon; TASHA KHEIRIDDIN expands her show from 1-2p to noon-2p; and veteran broadcaster KELLY CUTRARA will host 2-4p, replacing MCARTHUR.
“With three fantastic morning co-hosts and our existing all-star roster, we’re well-positioned to bring great conversation to the GTA,” said PD NATHAN SMITH. “MATT and SUPRIYA are wonderful new additions that I know our listeners will really connect with.”
“This is the first in a series of steps towards building a truly modern, multi-platform media destination,” said GLOBAL NEWS and CORUS RADIO VP/Eastern CANADA WARD SMITH. “Our station is committed to providing our audience with smart conversation, balanced debate and perspective on the stories people are talking about. Add to that, the opportunity to work with GLOBAL NEWS assets in TORONTO and across the country – we’re beyond excited.”
