MICROSOFT's BING search engine has partnered with TUNEIN to improve its search results for radio station information.
In a post at the Bing developers' blog, MICROSOFT said that "Enhancing our radio search experience is a natural extension of Bing’s existing music search experience, which already includes the ability to find videos, read lyrics and locate where to listen to your favorite songs and podcasts."
The change puts a tab for TUNEIN on the page when a search on a PC looks for a radio station; the tab allows the searcher to listen to the station while continuing to search or moving on to another task. When searching on a mobile device, BING will open TUNEIN's app directly to the searched-for station.
