Another podcast may spawn a television series, as DEADLINE reports that ELIZABETH LAIME's former EARWOLF network podcast "TOTALLY LAIME" is now in development as a sitcom for CBS.
LAIME and "INSIDE AMY SCHUMER" writer and "GIRLS" Executive Producer TAMI SAGHER and THRULINE ENTERTAINMENT pitched the concept to the network, which is based on the idea of a young couple documenting their relationship through a podcast; the "TOTALLY LAIME" podcast featured LAIME and husband ANDY ROSEN in conversation with comedian guests and ran for five years before ending in JANUARY 2015.
LAIME, who will be Executive Producer of the show with SAGHER, ROSEN, and THRULINE's WILLIE MERCER and JB ROBERTS, presently hosts "TOTALLY MARRIED" and "TOTALLY MOMMY," a pair of advice podcasts.
