Eric Church's Chief Care Donates $1 Million To Diabetes Research

Kudos to EMI NASHVILLE artist ERIC CHURCH and his CHIEF CARES foundation, which donated $1 million to JDRF. KEN and RITA CHURCH, ERIC's parents, were being honored with the "Living And Giving Award" at the JDRF HOPE GALA last NIGHT (10/23) in CHARLOTTE, when ERIC and wife KATHERINE surprised the audience with the donation.

"I can't think of a more fitting occasion to make CHIEF CARES' largest donation than in honor of my mother and her battle with Type 1 Diabetes," said ERIC. JDRF's LAURA MACIAG commented, "The commitment and dedication of the CHURCH family is extremely appreciated as we move forward in our vision to create a world without Type 1 Diabetes."
