Lady Gaga, Sting To Perform At American Music Awards

LADY GAGA will perform at the 2016 AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS on NOVEMBER 20th, which will be televised live on ABC. STING will receive the show's AMERICAN MUSIC AWARD OF MERIT at the show, and will perform a song frrom his upcoming album, "57th & 9th." The special AWARD, given only to artiss who have made truly exceptional contributions to the music industry, was last presented to ANNIE LENNOX in 2008. Previous winnners have included PRINCE, IMCHAEL JACKSON, PAUL McCARTNEY, GARTH BROOKS, JOHNNY CASH, WHITNEY HOUSTON and BON JOVI.
The 30-year-old GAGA confirmed she'll sing at the ceremony in a tweet TODAY, just as her new album "Joanne" was released.
"Bringing #Joanne to the @AMAS on 11/20! See u there! #AMAs," she wrote to her 64.2 million followers.
LADY GAGA isn't nominated for any AMAs this year, but previously won Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist in 2010. BRUNO MARS has also been announced as a performer.
