WFUV ‘Strikes A Chord’ For Veterans Returning Home

This fall the award-winning Strike a Chord investigative series of FORDHAM UNIVERSITY Triple A WFUV/NEW YORK turns its attention to veterans returning home.   In addition to public service announcements spotlighting organizations that help vets readjust to life on the home front, the campaign will include a news series and special public affairs program.

"Transitioning back to civilian life can be a real challenge for veterans, whether it be finding a job or a place to live," WFUV News & Public Affairs Director GEORGE BODARKY said. "We're pleased to be spotlighting these issues in an effort to help smooth out that transition for the men and women who've selflessly and bravely served our country."
