Everyone expected Game Seven of the WORLD SERIES to dominate TV ratings last NIGHT (11/2), and indeed, the CHICAGO CUBS and CLEVELAND INDIANS’ 10-inning, rain-delayed final game marathon delivered massive numbers for FOX-TV. According to ZAP2IT.com the CUBBIES first championship in 108 years drew 39 million viewers, earning a 12.1 rating/36 share among 18-49 year olds.
Also as expected, "THE 50th ANNUAL CMA AWARDS” telecast got clobbered by comparison, attracting 12.75 million viewers and garnering a 2.9 rating/8 share among 18-49s. The 2015 CMA AWARDS attracted 13.8 million viewers, posting a 3.8 rating/12 share (NET NEWS 11/5/2015).
