The NEW JERSEY DEVILS have found a home for the 23 games this season that will not air on CBS RADIO Sports WFAN-A-F/NEW YORK, establishing a new digital station with iHEARTMEDIA's NEW YORK cluster.
"THE ONE JERSEY SPORTS AND ENTERTAINMENT NETWORK" will carry all DEVILS games, simulcasting the games airing on WFAN and exclusively airing 23 additional games as well as what a press release from the DEVILS, PRUDENTIAL CENTER, and iHEARTMEDIA calls "original DEVILS and NEW JERSEY entertainment programming," including "DEVILS, sports, entertainment, community and cultural podcasts" as well as "diverse, world-class New Jersey-focused entertainment content from THE ROCK (PRUDENTIAL CENTER, the DEVILS' NEWARK arena) -- the home of NEW JERSEY sports and entertainment. The stream will be available via the DEVILS app and iHEARTRADIO and will launch with the DEVILS' game SUNDAY (11/6) against CAROLINA.
“This is an exciting moment for DEVILS fans, and sports and entertainment fans across NEW JERSEY, as we debut an innovative platform that will provide access to the team and arena like never before,” said DEVILS and PRUDENTIAL CENTER President HUGH WEBER. “Backed by iHEARTMEDIA’s industry-leading technology and our robust plan for original content, we believe THE ONE JERSEY NETWORK will be a must-listen-to provider for NEW JERSEY consumers.”
“We are excited about this new relationship with the PRUDENTIAL CENTER and the NEW JERSEY DEVILS,” said iHEARTMEDIA NEW YORK Region President SCOTT HOPECK. “Through this partnership we are able to provide our listeners local access to NEW JERSEY DEVILS digital game broadcasts and to exclusive DEVILS content available whenever and wherever they want it.”
