CBS RADIO Top 40 WQMP (101.9 AMP RADIO)/ORLANDO, FL morning team of CHAD & JILL spoke with once (and future?) first daughter CHELSEA CLINTON on the air this morning to mark ELECTION DAY.
Subjects ranged from the importance of voting to her parents' visit to the scene of the PULSE nightclub tragedy in ORLANDO while preaching the importance of equality for all.
Said CHELSEA: "I’m so proud to be my mother’s daughter and I’m fiercely and ridiculously proud, and I’m also really biased towards her. I make no claims to the contrary. I’m definitely not objective. And yet for me this election is so personal because it is about my kids. My daughter CHARLOTTE is two, my son AIDAN is four months old, so one of the reasons I’m working so hard is because I know that whoever we elect to succeed PRESIDENT OBAMA to protect the progress that he’s made and build on that progress will shape the whole world and future that my kids grow up in."
When asked about her current listening habits, CHELSEA said her choices range between KATY PERRY's "Roar" from her mom's playlist, to RAFFI's "Baby Beluga," a favorite of her kids'.
CHELSEA also urged listeners to vote TODAY. Hear the complete intrerview here.
