ALL ACCESS extends sympathies to friends and family of longtime MUSIC ROW executive JERRY WAYNE FLOWERS, following his MONDAY (11/7) passing. He was 68. FLOWERS handled publicity for RCA NASHVILLE during the 70s and early 80s, working with DOLLY PARTON and the JUDDS. After leaving the label, he headed the HALSEY COMPANY’s NASHVILLE office, then served as OPRYLAND MUSIC GROUP VP. He later became a self-employed consultant.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 4p (CT) on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 12th, at WILLIAMSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 3009 Columbia Ave., FRANKLIN, TN. Visitation will take place two hours prior to the service.
