WIBC/Indianapolis' David Wood Narrates New Audiobook 'Hail To The Chief'

EMMIS News-Talk WIBC/INDIANAPOLIS PD and voiceover specialist DAVID WOOD is the narrator of a new audiobook, political thriller "Hail to the Chief."  WOOD narrates the book, written by novelist JOHN LESLIE and former NEW YORK TIMES reporter and SMITHSONIAN MAGAZINE editor CAREY WINFREY, which tells the story of a President-elect in a coma 10 days before her inauguration and the VP-elect's and First Gentleman's opposing machinations over the reins of the nation.

WOOD said that the book is "a book I would devour even it weren't my job. I couldn't put it down. The story is compelling, the writing smart and I cared about the characters. It's a timely and fun read. It does make you think, ‘what if?’”

The authors hired WOOD to narrate the audiobook in SEPTEMBER; the audiobook is available at iTunes, Amazon.com and Audible.com.
