KKGO/Los Angeles Launches All-Christmas Music Programming

All Christmas Starting Today (11/15)

MT. WILSON BROADCASTERS Country KKGO (GO COUNTRY)/LOS ANGELES flipped to all CHRISTMAS music programming this MORNING (11/15), with plans to continue through CHRISTMAS day, SUNDAY, DECEMBER 25th. The station will go well beyond its Country artist base, featuring holiday classics from BING CROSBY to more contemporary artists such as MICHAEL BUBLE' and MARIAH CAREY. The move gives LOS ANGELES two all-CHRISTMAS outlets, as iHEARTMEDIA crosstown KOST flipped to holiday tunes for a 15th consecutive year last WEDNESDAY (NET NEWS 11/9).

“We are thrilled to offer the best CHRISTMAS programming around this holiday season,” said  PD MICHAEL LEVINE. "I think CHRISTMAS music is more important than ever, just with the recent elections that we’ve had. I know it’s been draining on people for the last year and a half, two years, so why not provide an escape for everyone?"
