HUBBARD Country WIL/ST. LOUIS morning teamers BUD AND BROADWAY have announced their "5,000 TOYS FOR GIRLS AND BOYS" charity toy drive initiative, which will benefit the families served by the SALVATION ARMY in ST. LOUIS. BUD AND BROADWAY are inviting listeners to participate by volunteering to collect toys at work, pick up extra toys when out shopping for the holidays, involving BOY SCOUT and GIRL SCOUT troops in the efforts, and asking their church groups to donate.
On FRIDAY, DECEMBER 9th and SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10th, the entire WIL "HOME TEAM" will broadcast at local ST. LOUIS area WALMART locations to collect toys, which will then be distributed to children and teens in need through the SALVATION ARMY courtesy of 2 MEN AND A TRUCK. For a complete list of broadcast locations and times, and for more information about "5,000 TOYS FOR GIRLS AND BOYS," visit the WIL website.
